About Intense Driving Academy

Hello, my name is Zahra, and I am a dedicated and experienced driving instructor with a strong passion for helping students become safe, confident, and independent drivers. My journey into driving instruction began with a desire to support individuals from diverse backgrounds in learning one of life’s most essential skills - driving with confidence and responsibility. My primary goal is to ensure that every student not only learns how to operate a vehicle but also develops strong awareness of their surroundings and sound decision-making skills on the road.
I bring over 20 years of professional driving instruction experience, having taught driving both overseas and in Canada. I worked as a driving instructor in the United Arab Emirates from 2005 to 2018, and since 2021, I have been proudly teaching in Calgary, continuing my commitment to high-quality driver education.
One of my most effective teaching methods is commentary driving, where I guide students through real-world driving situations while they are actively driving. This approach helps learners think ahead, react confidently, and understand road conditions in real time, resulting in safer and more confident driving behaviour.
My aim is to maximize each student’s learning experience by providing practical guidance, clear instruction, and a supportive learning environment that builds long-term confidence and safe driving habits.
I am fluent in English, Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali (Chittagong), Rohingya, and Hindi, with basic proficiency in Arabic, which allows me to connect comfortably with students from diverse linguistic backgrounds and provide personalized instruction tailored to their needs.
